It’s all about family.
Towne Barbers has been in the Monico family for around 32 years. It is located in historic Bel Air, Maryland and the shop brings its own history to the town. This old fashioned barbershop has been a part of Bel Air for so long, that it is even known as a landmark. Everyone knows where it is and the brothers that work there. Vince Monico started the barbershop in Perry Hall, Maryland, back in the late 60's and worked there until 1984. The twins, Joseph and Angelo Monico, worked at the unisex barbershop called The Hair Concern, with their father for many years. When their father got cancer, they took over the business full-time and later sold it. Angelo Monico then began working in Bel Air at Jim's Barbershop under Jim Glorioso. Joe Monico followed suit a couple years later. Jim's Barbershop was sold to Vince Monico in the mid 80's and it has been in the Monico family ever since. It is now known today as Towne Barbers.
